Follow this game if you want it to live

Developing this game was interesting, however, I couldn't deliver the game that I wanted Cats in Hell to be. I had to stitch all the material together in one night to make this a playable game, and apparently most people couldn't even open it since Cats in Hell seems to require RPG Maker 2003 to run.

I can make a list of every goal I didn't meet:

• Actually having cats or hell. I wanted this game to be less lonely than Uni (I'll rerelease that on Itch, by the way.) or ;Pale Sky Project and completely failed on that. There were supposed to be many gigerian looking and eternally suffering cats, but you'll only get some really creepy recolors of the main character.
• Metroidvania progression: This would be really nice for a walking sim, making it somewhat controlled experience. However, I don't  currently have enough skill with RPG-Maker to program any serious effects.
• Having a good upwards walking sprite: I didn't have the time to make that.
• Having plot: I have thought about making an intro and ending cutscenes for this game. The closest this game currently has to plot happens within the world of the second screenshot.
• Polish: I tend to make my games very polished, but didn't have the time for that with Cats in Hell.

• Fucking making this game playable with normal RTP: I assumed that it would be playable, but it "seems to require RPG Maker 2003 to run". Do you have any idea how I felt when those thirty persons were only greeted with an error message? On a happy note, the YNFG-Wiki page had a coherent description of this game, so at least some played it. I'm still pretty sour when I try to think about the overall ratio of owning Rpgmaker 2003 versus RTP 2003.

So, if you want to ever see the game having these things, please follow Cats in Hell. I'll update you with media showcasing all these imaginary improvements into the game, before I'll make these improvements from the ground up into something even better that will be seen on the next Dream Diary Jam.
